COOK TO SERVE AS ADMINISTRATIVE DEAN OF OUR NEWEST INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL…

Charles Cook, SIBI Instructor

The new ministry training school in Singapore will soon be numbered among the 43 other Sunset International Bible Institute schools already in operation around the world.  Already these schools have graduated more than 400 men who are now in their respective places preaching God's Word.  We are most pleased to announce the addition of Charles and Tamara Cook to our international missionary families who serve around the world.

The Cooks  will be joining a team of  over 70 dedicated individuals who are united by the passion of training servants and missionaries for God's kingdom. They work around the globe as teachers, administrators and translators to offer quality Biblical education.

Charles as been asked to serve as Administrative Dean for the Singapore Branch of SIBI.  In addition to offering our resident courses taught by him and others on the field,  the live classroom instruction from Lubbock will be broadcast in real time to the Singapore classes via video conferencing.  This school will train missionaries for up to 25 Asian nations.

Branch Schools
Since 1997, the International Studies Division of Sunset International Bible Institute has expanded with branch & associate schools in Ecuador, Ethiopia, Greece, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, & Botswana, Ghana, Zambia, Korea, Philippines, Haiti, and the U.S.A. --- And now we are opening our newest branch in Singapore, Southeast Asia.

Students
Currently, hundreds of students are being equipped for ministry. The study programs are varied according to the unique national situation, but all are patterned after the SIBI two-year curriculum in Lubbock, Texas. These students are working within their own culture, preaching in their own native language, and are at ease living in their normal economic setting.

Translation
Currently, 25 translators and editors are working in five countries to bring quality Biblical resources materials to students and congregations in their native languages.
