Focus On Asia is the on-going ministry of Charles and Tamara Cook designed to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to Asia.  This work is under the oversight of the elders of the Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock, Texas who oversee the work of the Sunset International Bible Institute with whom the Cooks have been associated for the past 32 years. Dear Friends:

 Many of you know that for the past 12 years I have been an instructor at SIBI in Lubbock as well as a missionary to the Northeast/Northwest areas of the USA.  These responsibilities have been given to others so that we might be able to again take up mission efforts in Asia.  Our assignment is to help establish a foreign branch of Sunset International Bible Institute in Singapore.  My role is that of Administrative Dean and resident instructor.  The school is called the Singapore International Bible Institute and will operate under the administrative umbrella of SIBI,  3723 34^th Street , Lubbock , Texas 79410.  It will utilize the curriculum of the International Division of SIBI and will be hosted by the Pasir Panjang Church of Christ, 347 Pasir Panjang Road, Singapore 118868. The purpose of all this, of course, is to spread the Gospel of Christ on the Asian Continent. (see Why Asia)  It is believed that by training faithful men from the various nations of Asia (i.e., China, India, etc.) in Singapore, a multi-cultural Asian city itself, that these men (and women) will take the Message of Christ back to their homelands and plant local churches.
